There’s an age old saying that goes “cleanliness is next to godliness”. It is something that we keep on preaching about. The eco- club of Lourdes Convent High School decided to put it into practice. The eco-club full of enthusiasm and endurance were not only more sturdy but also very sensitive to the nature’s need than any adult. The young trekkers led by Bianca Dias and Samrat Kataktware of Off Trail Adventures were accompanied by a couple of the school teachers had gone on a nature trekking to Tambdi surla on 18 th July 2015 to experience the magic of the
monsoons and be closer to the mother nature.
Besides enjoying the trek these students also fullfilled their responsibility and duty towards the environment by collecting all the non biodegradable waste on the entire trail and deposed it in the bins. It was a learning experience for the young and a lesson to all us Goans.
